These tiny spaces certainly don't hold back on style! Vibrant textures, beautiful tile, and stand-out features give these bathrooms a dramatic, unexpected effect for when guests enter.
Have Fun with Bold Prints
A small bathroom is the perfect space to go big in personality with your wallpaper.
Hang a Statement Mirror
Pick a mirror that will get people talking! Choose a color or finish that contrasts with your wall color to make your mirror stand out.
Tucked away in a 1790 Carriage House I restored, these 2 powder rooms are full of character. Pedestal sinks are always great idea for a small space. The ceiling was lined with the original reclaimed barn wood from the original carriage and the industrial lighting adds a unique feature.
Use a Luxurious Tile
Mom needed a small bathroom makeover! I removed her bathtub which not only created a safe environment for her, but makes the space appear open and larger. Carrera Marble was used throughout. I added a bench for her safety and a niche for shampoos. The fixtures are Kohler, finished in brushed nickel. I custom crafted wainscoting half way up the walls.
Keep it Zen
It was also time to remodel my own bathroom! We decided we wanted a spa-like, tranquil space. I removed the bathtub and created a large walk-in shower. The soft blue shower tiles are 4" x 12". Using large elements in a small space always gives it a bigger illusion. The vanity is made of bamboo with a modern sink and brushed nickel fixtures throughout.
Mix Textures to Create Contrast
This small space became very dramatic! The customer wanted a blend of modern and rustic to match the restored barn. The vanity is suspended on the wall and the shower is Carrera Marble. Reclaimed Mushroom wood lines the walls from floor to ceiling. Don't be afraid to be bold in your next small space, we would love to see what you come up with!
